Every Circles post is encrypted end to end using state of the art secure messaging protocols from Matrix. No one can read your posts or look at your photos unless you invite them first.
Circles helps you keep your little ones safe. You have total control over who can see every post. Safely and easily share photos and videos with grandparents, aunts and uncles, and other family members and friends.
Easily share updates with lots of your friends all in one place, even if they dont all know each other. A social circle works like a secure, encrypted version of Facebook or Twitter. But unlike other networks, Circles lets you create as many social circles as you want, so you can share different updates with different sets of friends.
Create secure, private discussion groups to coordinate clubs, organizations, and other groups of friends who all know each other.
Share photos securely with all your friends, using Circles secure cloud-based photo galleries. Shared photo galleries are great for family vacations, weddings, and any other event where everyone gets together and takes lots of photos.
Unlike other social networks, Circles does not sell advertising, and we never will. So we have no need to data mine your posts, or to follow you around the web with a network of creepy trackers. We dont harvest your data, and we dont share your information with sketchy third parties.
If youd rather not rely on us to host your account, you are free to run your own server or use a friends. Circles works with any standards-compliant Matrix server that implements the Matrix client-server API version 1.9 or above.
